Student Activities Coordinator provides support to all co-curricular realms of student life at the Miami University Dolibois European Center in Luxembourg. Job Description
The SAC facilitates the cultural, social, and personal adjustment of students to the European experience, and supports students in building a community as members and active participants in the residential life of the Luxembourg campus system. The SAC serves as a positive role model for students. This is a full-time, temporary, one-year appointment from July 15, 2025– July 14, 2026 on the Miami University’s Luxembourg campus. This position requires living on campus; housing is provided.
The Student Activities Coordinator will:
**The position requires fixed office hours, Wednesday through Sunday. Required to reside on the Luxembourg campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
**Consideration may be given to applicants who have the ability to communicate well in group and individual situations, and establish rapport with a wide variety of people, ability to quickly evaluate crisis situations and respond appropriately, experience living, studying, or working outside of the United States, previous experience as a Resident Director/Assistant/Advisor in a student residence hall or youth program residential setting, are proficient in French, and have social media marketing and communication experience.

Lastly, if during the term of this appointment, due to the COVID19 pandemic and/or other events outside of the University’s anticipation or control, including but not limited to campus closures, pandemics, epidemics, outbreaks of disease, wars, acts of terrorism, labor strikes, floods, hurricanes and or other severe weather events, international travel restrictions, acts of governmental authorities, changes in laws and regulations or other calamity (collectively force majeure) the University in good faith believes this assignment to the Luxembourg campus should not continue, the University has the right upon 7 days written notice to terminate this assignment and its attendant benefits and assign you duties at the Oxford campus. The University will remain responsible for your return airfare and 50% of the baggage allowance.
