This one’s for the dads! With so many things going on this week downtown, you’re sure to find something fun to do with your old man. Grab your special guy and head to the taproom at Rhinegeist for Fatherpalooza, where you’ll find a smorgasbord of dad-tastic events and activities going on all day Sunday! Enjoy a rooftop brunch from 10AM to 12PM (tickets required!), catch the Bayern Munich vs. Auckland City FC match on the big screen from noon to 2:30PM, play bocce ball and cornhole, or take your turn on the putting green. Plus, Eli’s BBQ will be on-site serving up delicious grub — and there will be plenty of beer…obviously!
The Savannah Bananas are coming to Great American Ballpark Friday and Saturday, bringing a fast-paced, fun-filled style of baseball to the Queen City. They’re counting on fans to catch foul balls for outs, and games are won by points, not runs. The team will also break into choreographed dances on the mound and other on-field antics. Games start at 7PM both days. No tickets? No problem! Join the crowd at The Banks for the Savannah Bananas Block Party tomorrow from noon to 7PM featuring music, food trucks and 18 bars & restaurants.
Back for its 8th year, Tequila Fest returns to Fountain Square Saturday from 4PM - 8PM! Grab your padre and head to the Square to sample over 50 different tequilas, food from Mazunte, live entertainment and more. Tickets are only $60 and include over $90 in sampling tickets, food, and souvenirs.
