Purpose: The Licensed Therapeutic Service Provider serves as a 10 month member of the Wellness Center team. Provides coaching, case management and other clinical therapeutic services to students. This includes connecting students to resources and services to support their basic needs, coordinating services across campus and providing student with coaching to assist them with social emotional learning skills to succeed in school and post-graduation. This role will exhibit the ability to maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with the ethical and legal guidelines associated with HIPPA and Wellness Center policies. Individual counseling and intake diagnostic assessment.
Duties:
- Provide coaching to support and enhance student success
- Provide comprehensive assessment to assess for needs
- Provide case management and coordination of services both on and off campus
- Provide advocacy and support for students needs and well-being
- Individual counseling and intake diagnostic assessment
- Collaboration with other academic and student support services
- Crisis assessment, management, support, and intervention
- Faculty/staff consultations/follow-up when appropriate
- Prevention programming for mental health issues impacting this population
- Psycho-educational outreach to faculty, staff and students
- Staff meetings, record keeping, professional development
- Other duties as assigned by position supervisor
- Contributes to team effort by welcoming new and different work requirements; exploring new opportunities to enhance the services of the department; helping others accomplish related job results as and where needed.
Primary Contacts: Wellness Center Director and Wellness Center staff, students, Chief Belonging & Experience Officer, Director of Student Leadership & Residence Life, Director, Academic Advising Resource Center, Director, Academic Support Services, Athletics and other Academic and Student Engagement staff.

Qualifications
Education: Licensed (LISW, LSW, LPCC or LPC) Master's level degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in Social Work, Mental Health or Higher Education.
Work Environment, Physical Demands: Stressful client contacts; computer data input; multiple concurrent tasks with constant service interruptions; customer contact; confidentiality; detailed work
