Purpose:
To support the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Advancement Services Team, and Annual Fund Team of Institutional Advancement. This role will play a key part in enhancing stewardship management as well as provide administrative support, particularly for the Vice President of Institutional Advancement. This position requires initiative, professionalism, and high levels of integrity and confidentiality, as the coordinator will be responsible for handling sensitive material as it relates to the donors, faculty, staff, and students.
Duties:
Primary Contacts:
Vice Presidents for Institutional Advancement, Senior Director for Institutional Advancement, Institutional Advancement team members, and other administrative support within academic schools and other campus offices.
Supervision Exercised:
N/A
Supervision Received:
Works toward a previously defined objective with little supervision and uses a wide range of procedures to accomplish goals, plans, and arranges own work referring unusual problems to the Senior Director, Institutional Advancement or Vice President.
Education: High school diploma required; college preferred
Experience: Required: Minimum of 2 years administrative support experience; excellent communication skills and organizational skills, attention to detail; proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred: Familiarity with Raiser's Edge (NXT) and Power BI software; Stewardship experience.
Work Environment, Physical Demands:
Standing or sitting in one position for long periods; computer data input; multiple concurrent tasks with constant service interruptions; donor, faculty and student contact; strict confidentiality; detailed work.
